Guest guest
Hi does anyone have any ideas or information on the TCM treatment of leukaemia. This is a rare type called " t-cell large granular lymphocytic leukaemia " lymphocytes are high, neutrophils are low. When this patient comes in I will diagnose accoding to zang-fu patterns. I will probably give her Ba Zhen Wan, but will reserve this judgement till I see her. Any insights from anyone would be much appreciated
Guest guest
How about qinghao (or qinghaosu and other derivatives) ? Qinghao is a very old treatment for 'malignant malaria'. I'll dig out some info if you are interested. Guest guest
To Whom It May Concern; The best information I have found on leukemia and its treatment comes out of Mexico. The two best nations to get herbs from are, China and Mexico. There has been successful treatment for leukemia by Dr. Contreras, in El Centro, Mexico. I talked to him personally many years ago and he was treating cancer and leukemia patients with a lot of success. He used laetrile which comes from the apricot pit. It can be eaten after you break open the outer shell and a little nut is inside which is a little bitter but not too bad. I ate them for a long time. Maybe that is why I don't have cancer or leukemia. I would suggest to look into laetrile and see what it might do for your patient. Dr. Contreras told me and you may already know this, I was young and learning the healthfield when he told me this. All recovery from any disease or, illness is, 90% to 95% dependant on the patients mental attitude toward the disease or, illness they have. I come to this same conclusion from my own studies and personal experiences. Our biggest problem is understanding as a patient our part in any recovery from any illness. I would refer though to the thought that Taveer Rauf presents and that is prevention is better then recovery. I believe there is no disease we can't conquer or at least cut down considerably by wise eating habits and good nutrition. I live in America and we have many problems here with so many illnesses that could be prevented by eliminating the junk we eat. You don't have to be Albert Schweitser (1865-1963) to realize what we eat is, what we are. What we need to recognize is, WE PREVENT OUR PROBLEMS IN HEALTH. You may ask HOW? The answer is simple and easy, be aware we are not invincible and sooner or later our bad habits are going to catch up with us. If we take 15 minutes a day to read about our bodies and what makes them healthy we will learn more about how to take care of ourselves then any doctor can tell us. I hope I have helped you in some way to deal with this problem. Feel free to contact me if you wish. Thak you Ray ga.bates wrote: How about qinghao (or qinghaosu and other derivatives) ? Guest guest
Hi Ray: I'm glad to read your information about Leukemia treatment. My name is Meliani (Mel), I don't have any degree in medicine but I've always have interest in traditional medicines; therefore I joined this Chinese Traditional Medicine groups. My friend's mother has had 2 surgeries on her brain tumor. Now their doctors told my friend and her family that the cancer cell is still growing and it's growing inwardly that they can not operated on her again to take those cells out instead now they're just doing the chemo on her, hoping that the chemo will kill those cells something like that. When I read about Dr. Contreras, I'm so happy because at least there is something else that they can try. Is he still treating patient? Is there anyway that we contact him? Very much appreciate your information. Have a healthy day! Some basic background info on leukemia for other readers: Leukemias are divided into myelocytic leukemias (ML) and lymphocytic leukemias (LL). These are further classified according to being acute or chronic. For example acute myelocytic leukemia (AML) and chronic myelogytic leukemia (CML). Acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL) or chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). Western therapy will vary according to what type of leukemia it is. " t-cell large granular lymphocytic leukemia " is a lymphcytic leukemia. I don't know if it's an acute or chronic condition or if that classification even applies here. " In Chinese medicien, chronic leukemia (including CML and CLL), is classified according to presenting symptoms and signs. If the main manifestations are fatigue, lack of strength, shortness of breath, spontaneous perspiration and/or night sweats, torpid intake, and emaciation, the disease is classifed as vacuity taxation (xu lao). If there is bleeding, it is classified as a bleeding condition (xue zheng). If enlargement of th spleen and/or liver is pronounced, it falls into the category of concretions and conglomerations, accumulations and gatherings (zheng jia ji ju). " Disease causes leading to the engenderment of chronic leukemia include depletion of the righteous qi, emotional repression adn depression, and nregulated food and drink. In children, this disease is commonly related to former heaven insufficiency. Repression and depression of emotions can lead to qi stagnation and blood stasis. Unregulated food and drink damages the spleen and stomach leading to the accumulation of phlegm and turbidity. If the righteous qi becomes vacuous and depleted, nourishing and warming of the five viscera and six bowels loses its strength, and the qi of these viscera becomes weak. Therefore, protection against invading disease evils is weak and insufficient. Toxic evils may, therefore, take advantag of this vacuity and assail the channels and network vessels. Lodging of such toxic evil in the bone marrow may lead to disorders of blood engenderment. Obstruction of blood movement in the channels and vessels by the evils may lead to stasis and bindings, with accumulations and gatherings developing in the liver and spleen. " Therefore, chronic leukemia presents clinically as a combination of vacuity and repletion, i.e., a root vacuity with a branch repletion. It is also said of leukemia that 'Because of vacuity, there is disease, and because of diseare, there is vacuity.' " (pp. 155-156.) Note: " Vacuity " is the term Blue Poppy Press authors use instead of " Deficiency " or " Emptiness " . " Repletion " is " Excess " or " Fullness " . The text then goes into the stages. Guest guest
Hi Meliani, Thank you for your message. In my research one of the things that has come out recently is the affect calcium has on cancer. There is a CORAL CALCIUM that I understand has a great affect on cancer especislly that which comes from Okinawa. Calcium has been known to cause cancer to diminish. This is the highest quality Coral Calcium that comes from Okinawa. Cancer is very rare there. There are other things I am researching that I have heard has very good results against cancer. I would try the Coral Calcium in large amounts they come in capsule form. Chemotherapy is the last thing to do when all else has failed because, it has no validity for cancer solutions and is more for money then fact. I will let you know of more as I findout. I would suggest this above anything else I have learned or heard. Feel free to write if you wish to me. Guest guest
Dr. Contreras is in Tijuana, Mexico (where you can find a dozen other alternative medicine hospitals and clinics that treat cancer and other degenerative disesases that traditional western medicine can not help). His clinic is called the Oasis of Hope and you can find his website with that name. His program is wonderful and has withstood the test of time. You may also want to investigate Dr. Donsbach's Hospital Santa Monica (www.hospitalsantamonica.com) which has been offering wholistic protocols for these same " incurable " diseases for 20 years in Rosarito Beach, just down the road. His approach is to treat the whold body, making it an unwelcome host for the growth of cancer. I am his assisitant and this is my first post on this group. Sammy referred me to the group and I find your posts very interesting. Thank you. Hilery mteoh wrote: >Hi Ray: > >I'm glad to read your information about Leukemia treatment. Guest guest
I will study the info on Leukaemias the different types and causes. I am interested in the causes and think I remember about toxic causes of leukaemia. Also about the water from a spray bottle to stop burning moxa....I wrote that because I had been treated in China for a lung injury and had a moxa cone on my arm. I remember the doctor did spray me to stop burning but after you mentioned possible bad effects I thought of how I felt after the treatment and I do remember a kind of shock from it (the water on the moxa) I felt like I had been thrown in a wet icy cold place from a hot place. Yin and Yang I was severely injured at the time, But you are right I was in a bad reaction from that so perhaps I should retract the concept. Moxa seems to be a way of burning off bad cell groups and foul moistures. Moxa with joss sticks has been mentioned and perhaps longer duration moxa at less temperature is one solution. Perhaps a medical tool could be studied for this. Guest guest
Ray, is there any remdy for breast cancer why is that im not getting emails from now. plz inform. thnk you, regards tanveer Ray Zielinski <rmk_12z wrote: To Whom It May Concern; The best information I have found on leukemia and its treatment comes out of Mexico. This is a rare type called " t-cell large granular lymphocytic leukaemia " lymphocytes are high, neutrophils are low. When this patient comes in I will diagnose accoding to zang-fu patterns. I will probably give her Ba Zhen Wan, but will reserve this judgement till I see her. Any insights from anyone would be much appreciated Post message: Chinese Traditional Medicine Subscribe: Chinese Traditional Medicine- Un: Chinese Traditional Medicine- List owner: Chinese Traditional Medicine-owner Shortcut URL to this page: /community/Chinese Traditional Medicine
Guest guest
My teacher cured a childhood onset case of leukaemia with peanut skins. I remember he told me that once in a while, he gets a card or letter from her thanking him. She's grown up woman now. He also says, " but how can you get so many peanut skins? " Bye for now, Hugo ______________________ Want to chat instantly with your online friends? Guest guest
All: I promised to keep you all up to date with my friend's mom situation. Regretfully on Monday: June 16th 2003, at 10:29 AM, Mrs. Aurora Jacalone passed away at home surrounded by her family. God Bless her!! Mrs. J had a very tough weekend and finally gave up the fight this AM. I spoke to my friend who sounds exhausted and heart broken, yet relieved that her mother is no longer suffering. Thank you all for the information. Take care and have a blessed day!
