I have a friend who has recently quit smoking marijuana. He is having a

difficult time with physical and psychological withdrawl. However, he doesn't

want to see anyone (Western or alternative) because he's too embarassed. I'm

familiar with ear seed treatments, but I can't do any needling (still a

student). Can anyone recommend some herbs or nutritionals, or anything else

that will help him over the hump (and that I can perform without a license).

Thank you in advance. Jessica

Hi. As u can't use needles, use seeds.

You can use: Lung, Mouth, Shen Men, Sympathetic, Subcortex, and Anxious

point. If he's going on some troubles to sleep, add Neurasthenia point and

Dream Disturbing Sleeping area (back of the ear). Ask him to press the seeds

five times a day, and take it off after 3 days. The ears must rest 24h and

then u can do it allover again. If you are able to make a energetic

diagnosis, do it, and select another points which can help him.

Those are concerning to Huang Li Chuns's auriculotherapy school.

I am interested in the correlation between the TCM meridians and the auras that

each of us have. Can MRI scans be used to located points to treat? I believe

that some meridian points have corresponding 'aural pathways, that is some

meridian points can 'jump' from one place to the next in an energy flow that can

be touched or massaged by 'feeling' the area above the skin. Some bad winds may

enter that way as well. I have seen Japanese healers on TV that use a force to

manage their patients without ever touching them. When we treat a patient we are

playing a kind of a three dimensional chess game with the energies, yin and

yang. It is useful to see the meridians in our body as a kind of grid that must

be managed and cared for properly. Sometimes we 'herd' the energies into a

corral of sorts where we can isolate and bleed, tonify,etc.. Meridian management

and confused pulse or testpoint signals must be managed over time, treating a

meridian (s) for a specific ailment does not always work, and it is up to the

healer to try different scans and stimulation techniques to get the meridians

into an order where the prescribed technique is effective.
