Horse formula

Hi all, this is the formula we are going to try on the horse:

 

Bai Shao (Peony) 10

Mai Ya (Germinated rice) 10

Zhi Ke (Bitter orange) 10

Bai Zhu (Atractylodes) 10

Chai Hu ( Bupleurum) 5

Gan Cao (Licorice) 4

Shan Zha (Hawthorn) 5

Gou Teng (Uncaria) 6

 

It was originally going to include the following as well:

 

He Huan Pi (Albizzia) 10

Bai He (Lilly bulb) 10

Fu Ling (Poria) 10

 

But after discussion we decided it might be too sedating (I do not want any

direct central sedation, this horse seemed very sensitive to Poria before)

and decided to go with a lower dose and omit them for now.
