Guest guest
I got to thinking about this. I was hoping someone might be able to tell me if I'm being foolish or something. Take spleen qi, for instance. I am a student and as such I tend to do a lot of mental work. How is spleen qi " boosted " ? I thought about it a bit, and was curious, is spleen qi a byproduct of the interaction between spleen yin and spleen yang? (i.e. spleen fire consumes spleen yin, producing spleen qi) When a formula says that it supports an organ and boosts qi, does this mean that it boosts qi while guarding against yin deficiency, or is this supposed to mean something else??? Perhaps I am completely out of my league and spouting gibberish. I would deeply appreciate it if someone could set me straight on this issue.
