I have posted this one before but forgot to mention the subject..... So

here we go again:

I have a new patient with syringomyelia (cyst in the spinal cord), so she

told me on the phone. I have not seen her yet and forgot to ask where

abouts in the spine it was located. From what she told me I presume it is

lower back. She is only forty but had to stop working as a nurse for

elderly people because completely disabled. She can only walk for a few

metres at a time. I would like to know if there is anybody who has personal

experience with this condition?
