Hi,

I am new to the group, so I don't know whether this question has been asked

or not. I did do a search but didn't see anything...

I have a new client who had an prostate operation last Friday (no cancer),

and I am just wondering whether there are any specific points that can help

him to recover more quickly. He doesn't have much pain, except for when he

gets up or when he pees. So it is not points for pain I am looking for,

just general points to help recovery.

thanks,

Sofie-Ann

Treat the meridians that were cut on, plus what ever you find during the

intake to treat the root.

Hi Sofie-Ann,

You didn't mention why your client had the prostate surgery in the

first place.

What was the diagnosis by TCM theory?

The surgery might have temporarily dealt with the physical problems

but there still might be an underlying energy balance adventure going

on.

Penel

who had an " ah ha " moment regarding prostate adventures when it was

pointed out to her where many men in Western culture tightly wear

their belt buckle; the area around CV#6 (the Sea of Qi)

Don't know what the diagnosis is in TCM, this a very new client; I

will treat him for the first time this evening.... I will find out

then of course. I did think about treating whatever the underlying

cause is, but I was just wondering whether there are any general

points on could use to help recovery after surgery, no matter what the

operation was for.
