Guest guest
I don't know how all email programs work, but in Hotmail and on the website, you place the cursor over the beginning of the part you want to delete and while holding the left mouse button down, you drag the cursor over all you want to delete. This will highlight the text. You then hit the delete key on your computer keyboard. In some programs, you click on a delete button on the screen. (After removing your finger from the mouse button.) It's also possible to cut and paste if you need to move text. You highlight the text. Once it's highlighted I can either hold down the Control key and C at the same time on the key board or click on Edit on the screen and click copy. To paste, I move the cursor to where I want to paste the material and either hold down the Control key and v at the same time or click on edit and then click on paste on the screen. This may be different on different computers and with different programs. If you change your mind about what you want to delete, clicking the mouse button will cause the highlighting to disappear. Hope this helps. O.T. stands for " Off topic " . I usually include it when the post isn't about TCM in any way. Victoria
