V. spicata Lour.; V. paniculata Lamk. (Wild sage, Lagundi, Nishinda, Begunia, Huangjing) with another name used: Huang jing zi (written with different characters than the Yin-Tonic Polygonatum Huangjing) slightly bitter, pungent, neutral; lung expells toxins removes phlegm; stops cough relieves asthma asthma/cough/chronic bronchitis ******************************************* Man jing zi (Fructus Viticis) Vitex trifolia L. var. simplifolia Cham. Agnus-castus vulgaris Carr. Vitex verticillata Lam. as Man jing zi ******************************************* V.trifolia has 3 leaves V.negundo has 3-5 leaves V.agnus castus has 5-7 leaves Look at their pretty pictures using any image-search engine like google to see the differences.
