deficiency. According to some traditional sources, this herb antagonizes Wu

Tou and Shi Gao.

 

Dosage: 6-12g. Also uesd in tinctires, especially for headache and eye pain.

Thanks Stan - interesting, other herbs the horse reacted badly to are

contra-indicated in yin deficiency too.

 

This is so wierd because he has many signs of Yin deficiency, and yet kidney

yin is translated as partly cortisol production (by Michael Tierra and

others) and he has a high cortisol!

 

Oh well, I fired the vet, who refused to accept his prescription was

responsible for the adverse effect I saw (if I was even objective enough to

be correct in seeing it) Sheesh!!!

 

My medical Herbalist, Michael McIntyre (chair of the European Medical

Herbalists Assoc or somesuch) has agreed to treat him, thank goodness!
