There are different varieties, in part because of different traditions, but mostly because, as a Taoist priest(Tao Huang) said to a friend of mine: 'the sounds are emmited differently, depending on the energy necessary to cure the student or patient'. and he also said that these sounds where sacred, transmitted orally from master to disciple, and one should not try to imitate them from a book(his book; the Door to all Wonders) Marcos _____________________ GeoCities Tudo para criar o seu site: ferramentas fáceis de usar, espaço de sobra e acessórios. http://br.geocities./
Guest guest
I encountered the HAaaaaa sound during a Chigong healing session. The sound was dictaded by the Chi in corespondence to the healing motion. One could, I guess, practice from a book or with a master to aquire sufficient sensitivity to perceive the objective need for a sound. Language pronunciations vary. My Chinese friend Robert pronounced the ideograms for me, but it was so tonal I could nor pronounce it or remember it past 5 minutes!. Yet, during the healing session, the sound occured spontanously and naturally, I had no problem using it. > > marcos lacerda [sMTP:ishk18] > Wednesday, November 13, 2002 10:11 PM > chinesehealing > [Chinese Traditional Medicine] Healing Sounds > > > >I understand that a way to apply the 5 healing sounds is to > >actually intone > >or sing them to the patient during qigong treatment.
