I'd say testosterone. Probably used with epimedium or cordyceps, or something

like 'old sea dog' to boost kidney yin/yang and a flagging libido. Sammy.

Get in line. I asked around on my other lists and came up with a couple

of answers.

 

The herb is called Ren Zhong Bai.

Temperature: neutral temperature with a tendency toward cold

Taste: salty

Meridians: Liver, SJ, Urinary Bladder

Functions: cools heat detoxifies, disintegrates blockages/masses, stops

bleedings

Prof Zhou Zhong Ying from Nanjing prescribes ren zhong bai

for nephritis with haematuria (this is likely the stopping bleeding

thing and perhaps blockages of the urinary tract)
