Fire: laughter

Earth: sing-songy

Metal: crying (could go into the " whiny " category here too)

Water: groaning

Wood: shouting (either excessively loud or angry)

I think that the whiny voice is that of Earth rather than Metal and it

should be said that the sound of Fire can also be lack of joy and of Wood

can be lack of shout. Also shout doesn't have to be about volume or anger,

it can be more of a staccato or " bullet point " way of talking.

Yeah, I've heard that. My Zang Fu teacher in fact had that. I took that

class with a psych nurse who used to bump my arm and whisper to me

" That's 'pressured speech', that's a pathology! "
