Guest guest
In a Five Element view this could be either of the following elements in distress.. Are they earth deficient? Are they needy? Is the talking asking for love or understanding. Is the voice singing? Are they Water deficient? Is the talking manic like a raging stream? Does the voice have a driven quality? Do they need reassurance? Are they Wood? Is there a shout in the voice are they challenging you, do they need firm boundaries? Are they Fire deficient? Are they trying to be in relationship. Do they only want to laugh or keep " up " . Are they trying to keep above their sadness? I have not met a lot of Metal people who talk too much ( yet!) Guest guest
thank you for your answers this is not a problem that occurs during visits, and I am already doing what you indicate. I am looking to see if my awareness of " heart " has a tcm link and short of bringing him in every other day or making a house call when the talking starts what might be done to help this dude... he has also been gaining weight since he became aware of this trend. Bl60, Bl65, Du16 These points help clear the Bladder channel. This gives you an idea that heart restlessness can get lodged in the Bladder channel. Once it does, these points help clear it. Its depressed, flat in pitch and goes down at the end of the sentence. Gye, this is good advice. I'd like to also mention that the five elements do have sounds associated with the voice. Fire: laughter Earth: sing-songy Metal: crying (could go into the " whiny " category here too) Water: groaning Wood: shouting (either excessively loud or angry) -al. -- Al Stone L.Ac. <AlStone http://www.BeyondWellBeing.com Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. His metal sounds were occurring before the lung collapse, and ever since the lung collapse, he's become paler and his voice is much much quieter. Signs a lot, of course. Another patient with lung dryness has the same tones, but only when she leaves messages. oh, pneumothorax is the word for air in the lining of the lungs.
