Guest guest
Dear Victoria, RE: Did the headache, neckache, spasms, and dizziness get worse after the treatment? Stay the same? Improve slightly? Be sure to tell your acupuncturist what happens, especially if anything worsens.Victoria--------------- So far, everything is still the same. Not better, not worse. I will let her know if things change. I have changed my diet since Saturday but it will take a while to notice an improvement I think. Anyway she said it takes about 6 weeks to get dairy out of your system. I asked her about the dizziness problem and she said it was caused by the phlegm. Also the phlegm block was causing the aches and pains in my body. Take Care, Sharon Faith Hill - Exclusive Performances, Videos, more faith. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, Please keep us posted on what happens. > Anyway she said it takes about 6 weeks to get dairy out of your system. I asked her about the dizziness problem and she said it was caused by the phlegm. Also the phlegm block was causing the aches and pains in my body. It does take a while to get dairy out of the system. In your case the Phlegm is due to the diet (as well as the weak Spleen), so treatment is directed at eliminating what " feeds " the Phlegm as well as strengthening the Spleen. Other Phlegm cases require slightly different approaches (though strengthening the Spleen usually is a part of most of them). Some information for other readers on non-dairy diets in the West. The reason I'm saying " in the West " (particularly in the U.S.) is that people in other countries have traditional diets that enable them to get enough calcium without having to take supplements. The American diet is such that even when people do eat dairy they frequently have to take calcium supplements. Sometimes when a person cuts out all dairy and has cut it out for a while and is NOT on any form of calcium supplement, the person will start to develop the symptoms of adult rickets. The alkaline phosphatase level in the blood may become elevated. There are several medical conditions that can result in elevated alkaline phosphatase levels, and some of the them are very serious. But adult rickets is also one of the conditions that can result in this. If you are a licensed MD or DO and no other symptoms of a serious disorder are present, you may want to ask the person if s/he has eliminated all dairy from the diet and if the person is on calcium supplements. The total elimination of dairy and not taking supplements may be the reason for the elevated alkaline phosphatase level. The person also may be craving leafy greens like spinach, collards, mustard greens, turnip greens, kale, etc. Because elevated alkaline phosphatase can be a sign of some very serious medical conditions, this is something that MDs and DOs take seriously. But adult rickets is also one of the conditions that can result in elevated AP. You also are more likely to see this in a person who has eliminated ALL dairy because of combined allergy and lactose intolerance as well as not taking any calcium supplement. This is a person who isn't eating anything made with dairy. Even the bread the person eats is made with water instead of milk.
