But it is along the lines that SJ & Pc belong to a 6th element on their own. The understanding of this 6th element says that SJ & Pc govern the homeostatic mechanisms of the body. Homeostasis is maintained in the body by controlling the composition of the interstitial fluids, like lymph and blood plasma. The major control center is the hypothalamus which controls over 90% of these homeostatic functions, which include hunger, anger, thirst, body temperature, sex drive. SJ & the divergent of Pc together flow to the hypothalamus and regulate it. I've been looking at this for a number of years and feel very comfortable with the new insights. - Ed
Guest guest
Thanks, Ed. Any recommendations on herbs and/or acupoints to treat it? Problems with homeostasis are common in PWCs (People With CFIDS). I know one PWC whose blood was described by the hospital staff as syrup- like it was so thick.
