Where would one find papers/books on oriental > arts/qigong.tai chee and so on thx Victor Check your local library. If the library doesn't have the books you want, it may be able to order them in via interlibrary loan. In some areas this is free; in others you pay the book rate postage. Do a Google search on the Internet. Lots and lots of articles. Used book stores. The Chinese make no distinction among body, mind, emotions, spirit. To them, it is a total package. A completely holistic outlook. It's unthinkable to them that physical problems would not also have mental, emotional, and spiritual components. Or that a mental problem would not also have physical, emotional, and spiritual components. And so on. It's all connected. Pull on one part of the tapesty or web, and it's felt throughout. The Web That Has No Weaver is considered a classic in the field. The Henry Lu books are good. There also are the Bob Flaws books, written at levels varying from general public to students. Some of the martial arts people on the web like Warrior should be able to recommend some good martial arts books. There also are martial arts groups on the Internet. I belong to one though I don't practice. I signed up because I wanted to learn more about acupoints. Some acupoints also can be used to hurt instead of heal if struck in a particular manner and sequence. " Chee " is the way it's pronounced, and probably wouldn't show up in a search. Qi or chi or ch'i is the way it is spelled. I think it's also spelled Ki? Victoria
