Hi,

I think I put things way too short, there's a misunderstanding:

Earthly Branches-ZangFuOrgan-Qi Flow in Meridian/Channel

Zi-Kidney-Gall

'translates' as

The Earth branch 'ZI' corresponds to the ZangfuOrgan 'Kidney'.

During the period of Earth branch 'ZI' the qi flows through

the 'Gallbladder'-Meridian

The characters that are used for these branches (Yin, Wei, Shen f.e.)

are very different from the organ names. They just have the same

PinYin(PinYin is used to transcribe chinese into alphabetic

languages)-Spelling.

I hope I got your question answered.

Greetings Tay.
