Guest guest
In my ongoing rigorous Nei Dan QiGong practice (I am practicing a system of Ba Tao QiGong that involves both Nei Gong meditation and iron body techniques) I have experienced many symptoms of Qi manifesting, but there is a bit about which I am concerned: I am well aware of the accumulation of Qi manifesting as heat in the Dan Tien after much practice and that this results in a vibration and shaking with continued practice. I have the heat intermittently but the vibration comes on quite strong at times, with or without the heat. Often it moves down to my perineum where there is such a strong tingling, it feels as though I am sitting on a vibrator and can barely keep still. This is a good sign, I am told, but the excess vibratory pressure down there is what I think caused me to have a nocturnal emission last night which is NOT GOOD AT ALL for the preliminary stages of psychic-channel QiGong which heavily involves the Jing -> Qi conversion. Is there an easy way to return the Qi to the Dan Tien? I cannot seem to get it to rise through the Du Mai yet by means of Hui Yin contraction. 2nd and more alarming symptom: Today, after sitting indian style while reading and having my right leg go numb as usual (I didn't have the patience to sit it through), it felt as though I might've been bitten by a mosquito or something on my calf, but since it went away shortly I didn't mind. Then later, when getting up from a position in which that leg was NOT numb, I got an excrutiatingly sharp pain in the middle toe of the right food, causing me to limp as if I had been shot. The pain was NOT radiating through the leg, although perhaps to the 2 larger toes (It was so intense I could not be sure. It was definitely most prevalent in the middle toe.) It went away after quite a few minutes. Now I have been told that pain is an occasional symptom of Qi channel clearing, but, A) I always sit cross legged when meditating (not counting casual breath control during daily activities) and do not involve the leg channels even when I am doing it in earnest. B) The pain was sharp, intense, and did not radiate as though in a channel of any sort. Is there some sort of acu-point down there about which I should be aware? Is it likely that something dangerous could be happening?

" Now let me tell you that Qigong might well lead to bloodfluids(xue) and Qi-obstruction/blockage. If you keep concentrating Qi that wouldnt normall y accumulate in that masses in just some points then it is normal that you block parts of your Qi-system. Qi is meant to flow. With mindwill you can stop the flow, not really stop I mean empty some parts and accumulate it in other parts of the body. If you insist on getting online-diagnosis and help with Qigong accidents go to www.nqa.org, to their message board where some trained people might help you. Dont forget to repeat your symptoms you described here earlier some months ago. If you feel sleepless, nightsweats, burning hot palms then please stop your exercises and read more on the theory of acupoints and meridians and Qigong. Oh, " iron body techniques " if you do this 'do-it-yourself' without a guide/teacher/master then you will get qi-system...not really diseases but...you might not be able to see the onset of errors you make (which might lead to yin-exhaustion through leaking acu-points or qi-blockage). Greetings Tay. see you at www.nqa.org forum
