direct questions to?

I'm the moderator and a teacher of basic TCM.

Direct questions to the list. There are many people on here who know

a lot more than I do.

Victoria,

I'm probably just an idiot, but how do I access the old messages? I would

love to read your posts from the beginning, but I don't know where the

archives are located.

Thanks, Jessica

> Where do you teach?

On here, and I conduct local workshops in the county where I live.

I started Chinese Traditional Medicine as a way of introducing some relatives and

friends in another part of the U.S. to TCM. I started the list

because of the help I got from TCM.

As long-time list members know, at one time I was very sick. Western

medicine offered next to nothing. Western alternative medicine

helped, but not enough. I got so much help from TCM that I began to

learn all I could about it and share the information with others.

I know what it is to feel helpless and hopeless medically. TCM won't

correct everything, but a knowledge and use of it can help a lot of

people who otherwise would remian frightened and without help or hope.

One of the amazing things for me was that the symptoms which so

puzzled Western doctors were spelled out clearly in TCM. Kidney Yang

Deficiency. Not only are TCM healers not puzzled by the symptoms,

they've known about the syndrome for centuries.

The second thing that amazed me was that during all those years of

suffering, there were things in the spice section of the supermarket

that could have helped at least some if I had just known some basic

TCM. Things like giner. Fennel seed. Etc.

The list grew over the months to include TCM students and

professionals. I try to strike a balance in the posting I do, doing

some posts for those new to TCM and some posts for students and

encouraging the professionals on the list to go into some of the

finer points of TCM.

The earliest posts in the message base are the most basic and can

walk those new to TCM through the basics.

Call up the message section on the Chinese Traditional Medicine website at

. On the upper right-hand side of the screen you will see

msg #. Fill in 1 and click on Go. This will take you back to the

first message.

You're NOT an idiot.

The link for the Chinese Traditional Medicine website should appear at the bottom

of this message.
