Fructus Momordicae/Momordica grosvenori

LuoHanGuo 'the fruit from Lohan-province'

taste: sweet

action: cooling

enters: lung and large intestines meridians

humidifies the intestines to relieve constipation

humidifies and cools the TCM-lung to relieve

'TCMlung-fire' and dry cough, sore throat hoarseness.

 

I had nice results with LuohanGuo curing chronic Bronchitis (smokers)

and Sinusitis cases with hard to expell slime. This is a very very

mild (actually it is just a bland/sweet fruit), effective expectorant.

It might also work in all kinds of colds at any stage.
