Guest guest
Hi, A long time ago, someone with the nickname Judy F was posting about TCM at Dr Stoll's board. Because of her posts, I decided to visit a TCM practioner here in Holland. She is chinese and worked at a university hospital in China before coming to Holland. That was very important in my choice to visit her practice. Anyway, I've visited her once a week for 5 weeks now. The things we are working on are constipation and dizziness. I can honestly say that the dizziness is getting much better but the bowel problem is another story. After visiting her last week, I ended up with diarhea on saturday....I had visited her on wednesday. She told me today that the diarhea I had probably came from what she had done and she made a note of when I had visited her and when I had the diarhea. I saw her again today and when I got home, I had a small bowel movement and the rest of the evening, I've been feeling nauseous and bloated. Seems like its coming UP instead of OUT! Now that I think back on it, I had this same reaction last week but I didn't associate it with her treatments because it happened on friday and I saw her on wednesday. I took some peptobismal and chalked it up to eating soemthing that didn't agree with me. Anyway, I'm wondering if this is normal or if I should contact her tomorrow. I'm not taking any herbs...she's only doing acupuncture on me. She doesnt tell me much but I did hear her say to her student that my tongue showed spleen/stomach and that was the reason for my constipation. The needles I get are under my left rib, around my belly button and a few spots on my legs. So, can anyone out there tell me if this is a normal thing to experience and it'll pass or should I call her? Thanks, Barbara
