Guest guest
After having recently been gorging myself on too much food, I started to get back into my Qi Gong program and decided that a fresh fruit/vegetable juice fast would be a good way to cleanse. However, I found that during meditation I felt very uncomfortable and could not breathe properly without intense discomfort and strain in the chest, even though I felt with my hand that my abdomen breathing was being worked correctly. I am very thin. Very. I wonder if perhaps merely the pull of the skin putting pressure against the upper chest could cause this, but now almost constantly (I've since broken the fast---in a horrible indulgence - the meditation I was doing made me so uncomfotable- Natural and controlled breathing.) I have this heat and fullness feeling in my chest, not sure if it's an actual upper jiao heat excess or something else. Would fasting on juice for a thin person cause this? Any possible diagnoses? Solutions?

Any cold sensations down in the lower half of your body? Any heat flashes or sense of heat in your face? and any night sweating or dryness? Guest guest
By " center " , I assume you mean the middle Tan Tien? I can't quite tell since the middle jiao seems to be in the same place. I am very thin and I was fasting so I naturally felt pretty cold. I tried to elicit sweat when I was fasting after a bath during the night. I am hoping that starting to eat again will fix this, but is it symptomatic of something? > I just have a few questions... Do you feel a sense of fullness in your center?
