> I need information about sinusitis ad how to heal using TCM,

specially

I assume it is chronical sinusitis, there are at least following 6

basic syndromes:

1)Lung meridian wind heat:

CangErZiSan-formula, added

+mahuang(ventilate lung open surface-biao)+yuxingcao+lugen+huangqin

(these 3 clear lung heat)+gegen(lift clear/pure-yang, dispell heat,

produce bodyfluids)

 

if serious headache prominent in:

-tip+back of skull:+gaoben+manjingzi

-forehead+eyebrow edges+skull

edges+temple:+chuanxiong+chaihu+manjingzi

-cheek or upper teeth region: increase baizhi add chuanxiong

 

2)stomach heat scorching

ShengMaJieDuTang-formula

 

constipation: +dahuang

strong heat-toxin: +shigao+baijiangcao(Patrinia/Thlaspi) or

+jinyinhua+lugen

hard to get rid of nose-slime (hell, how d'ya describe that

better?):+zaojiaoci

 

3) vigorous heat in liver-gall bladder

LongDanXieGanTang-formula

+cangerzi+baizhi+shichangpu

 

hard to get rid of nose-slime:+zaojiaoci

 

if the fire-heat is prominent with extreme headache, constipation,

dark urine use DangGuiLongHuiTang-formula instead

 

4)Stagnant heat in lung-meridian

QingFeiTongQiaoTang-formula

 

5) blocked 'evil' on Lung-deficiency(FeiXu) (xu translates as:

virtual, seeming-as, unoccupied, vacant, shy, timid, in vain, modest

NOT as deficient. Replace sentences with words from my listing

with 'deficient' and have a good laugh. Like deficient jobs or

people :-) )

WenFeiZhiLiuDan or WenFeiTang

 

catches cold easily: +YuBingFengSan-formula

 

6) blocked 'evil' in Spleen-deficiency(PiXu)

ShenLingBaiZhuSan-formula

add Cangerzi, shichangpu

 

if not much turbid slime, tongue coating not sticky as signs of

*missing* damp-turbid-stuck-in-interior, use

BuZhongYiQiTang-formula together with CangErZiSan-formula instead

 

pus-like slime, a lot of it, coating sticky, a little yellow as signs

of

stuck-dampness-transformed-into-heat use

HaoLiXiaoDuSan-formula

+cangerz+shichangpu,

consider adding Huangqin, mutong,

consider omitting Danggui, shaoyao,chuanxiong,zaojiaoci
