Guest guest
Spam has become an increasing problem. Readers may want to check their mail program and block unwanted mail. I'm not familiar with all mail programs, but I can tell readers using Hotmail how to do it. Go to Options. Click on Junk Mail Filter and then click on whatever priority you choose. You then will need to go back to the Options page and click on either Safe List or Mailing Lists. This is where you add the addresses of the individuals or mailing lists you are on so mail from these sources do not get put in the junk mail box. You may want to check your junk mail box from time to time to make sure nothing has been routed to it that is important. You also can block individuals or domains. You can do this from the Options page by clicking on Block Sender, or, you can do it from inside the unwanted message by clicking on block sender. You can block an individual email address, or you can block any email sent from that domain. Spam is becoming an increasing problem. I want to bring attention to one in particular. A number of people have been added to the healthynotes mailing list without their permission. NO ethical site or business is going to add your name to a list without your permission. This list is set up so that if you do request that your name be removed, messages are sent out not with the company's email address but with the address of the person added to the list without his or her permission. You will have to go to the Options page and click on Block sender to add the real address of this company. When I blocked, I added both the full address healthynotes plus the domain address of neopharmica.com. I also added the email address cxlu and the domain name of cmp.com. The individual responsible for this spam calls herself Cecilia Lu. Don't bother replying because this just confirms your email address. Use the block function on your mail program. No ethical and trustable business does business this way. I want to say something about the persons who send spam. They are narcissists, People of the Lie (to borrow Peck's term for them). They have no conscience, and they care only about themselves. It matters not to them that they take up people's valuable time and energy having to delete their unwanted spam. All they care about is the possibility of looping in a few poor suckers by their tactics. As far as I'm concerned, the world would be a much better place without these narcissists. They are absolutely worthless no matter how much " good " they claim to do. It's a false claim as anyone who honestly is trying to help others is not engaging in unwanted, unethical, and/or illegal tactics to do so. The only help narcissists give is helping themselves to others' time, energy, money, and property without any regard whatsoever for their victims.
