I have bought a few from half.com and have been pleased. Often you can get a

good price on used books that are in excellent condition. Just type in

using keyword on the search engine. You can also search by

title and author.

>where is the best place that I can buy TCM books?

Hi Paul,

Whenever possible I check out TCM books by requesting them from the local

library. If the library doesn't have a copy, it will send to libraries all

over the U.S. to locate a copy (interlibrary loan). In some library

districts this is completely free; in others you will have to pay the book

postage.

If I like a book I review this way - or if it's on a subject that I have a

special interest in but can't get via interlibrary loan - I call the local

discount book store and see if it can get a copy (it can't always) or I use

one of those Internet comparisson shopping services to locate who has a

copy. If you do this, please be aware that some discount .coms will offer a

very long list of TCM books it can't really get in the hopes that just

getting you to log on because of that long list will result in your buying

other books from them that they do have.

I've found some TCM books at used book stores.

One also can order direct from places like redwing. com and Blue Poppy.

Others may have other ideas for you.

BTW, the woman who handles requests at the local library now knows my voice,

and I don't have to tell her my name or phone number.<G> Yep, I have used

interlibrary loan and local request quite a bit.

Thanks, Lynn. That's one I haven't tried.
