Beauty help is a very broad category. Could you be more specific? Often correcting TCM imbalances will improve beauty. For example: Kidney Deficiency often is related to " weak " teeth. TCM won't correct crooked teeth - one needs to see a dentist for that - but TCM can reduce the number of cavities because the teeth are stronger. Also, " soft " teeth stain more easily than " hard " , healthy teeth. (In addition to considering possible Kidney Deficiency, other things like diet (enough calcium and magnesium and vitamin D?) also have to be considered. Kidney Deficiency also can be a Root of unhealthy hair. Some Lung imbalances also can be a Root of unhealthy hair. In addition, Lung imbalances can be the Root of many complextion problems. Dark circles under the eyes can be due to Kidney Deficiency (and/or allergies). Skin spots and certain skin growths often have a Root of Blood Stasis. Clear up the Blood Stasis, and the spots start to disappear. (Blood Stasis is not the only possible Root of spots and growths but is one of the ones to consider.) Certain foods like almonds will decrease the body's tendency to form tumors. Nails with ridges and which split easily often have a Root of Gall Bladder and/or Liver imbalance. Correct the underlying GB and/or Liver problem, and the appearance of the nails improves. Spleen Deficiency can play a big role in overall health and beauty and problems. For one thing, if the Spleen and Stomach are not working properly, the person isn't getting the nutrients s/he needs to maintain health and beauty. For another, the person lacks vitality and the " glow of health. " For another, the person suffering from Spleen Deficiency lacks the energy to devote to beauty (or much of anything). Certain Heart imbalances (and others) can be a factor in a person being dull and lifeless. Certain Liver imbalances also can figure into this. (The Liver opens into the eyes.) Finally, one of the greatest aids to beauty is being at peace with oneself and being self-confident. Not arrogance, not smuggness, but realistic self-confidence and acceptance of self. Liver imbalances (as well as others) can prevent this being at peace. This is just a broad overview. I hope other readers will jump in with more specific info. Guest guest
I am 62 and have those brown age spots on my hands. If that is what you termed " Blood Stasis " how do you correct it? I would love to not have these.
