Seminal Fluid Diagnosis

Dear Friends,

I have some interesting questions.

Through TCM, I understand we can diagnose a person's health and

physical condition by looking at their tongues and feeling their

pulse.

I like to know if the state of seminal fluid can tell about a

person's health and what kind of disease or imbalance of energy the

person is suffering. If yes, then what does it means if the seminal

fluid is

(a) watery?

(b) transparent in color?

© thick and milky?

(d) yellow in color?

(e) coagulated into tiny `jelly'?

Hope somebody can enlighten me.

Thanks.

John

I'll admit right off that I've never atually studied these items, but if

nothing else, TCM is consistant and so I can make some educated guess in

the case of the following seminar fluids situations.

> (a) watery?

Sounds like a jing deficiency. Jing is semen and ejaculatory fluid

among other things.

> (b) transparent in color?

See above.

Probably that is considered healthy.

> (d) yellow in color?

Could be damp-heat in the lower jiao, or lower abdomen.

> (e) coagulated into tiny `jelly'?

I'd say that this is a continuation of the damp heat in much the same

way as damp heat can turn into kidney and gall stones. It begins as a

sort of humidity and congeals into jelly and finally into stones. We

could also call this phlegm heat at one point. Dampness can be either

humid or liquid. Phlegm is jelly to hard nodules.

Just some guesses.

Be well.
