Guest guest
http://www.herb.com.tw/ENGLISH/FORM_PR/p1.htm Click on the Chinese characters next to Bu Yin Tang for details of what is contained in the formula. On the Bu Yin Tang page, you can click on the Chinese characters next to the English name of the herb to get a rundown on what each herb does. Another good site is http://www.craneherb.com/home.html - Crane Herb Pharmacy. Click on symptoms and you can choose from a group of Western or diagnoses or symptoms and it will return a list of formulas for them which you can further click on and find out the ingredients, what symptoms it treats, actions, contraindications, etc. Or go to products, the name of a formula and you can look up the same information. Only licensed professionals may buy their formulas or herbs, but I think the lookup features are terrific. sue

This is a good site for those wishing to learn more about TCM formulas. It also solves the problem of finding info when one's reference books don't list a particular formula.
