Guest guest
http://www.healingpeople.com/ht/EN/articles/2000/3/29/802.tmpl Here is part two of the non-vascular headache article on healingpeople. It too states that typcially occipital headaches are Bladder-related. It's a pity the professional encyclopedia on healingpeople isn't working as there was an excellent article on there that went into even more detail about the various TCM roots of headaches and appropriate acupoints and herbs than this article does. Guest guest
>Here's a little something on headaches: >http://Acupuncture.com/Clinical/Head.htm Thanks. This has some helpful info. I noted the part about chronic occipital headaches and Kidney Deficiency. Also the use of the Bladder 23 point in Jing Deficiency headaches. For those new to TCM, the TaiYang (GreaterYang) meridians are the Small Intestine and the Bladder. The Yang Ming (Yang Brightness) meridians are the Large Intestine and Stomach. The ShaoYang (Lesser Yang) meridians are the Triple Burner (aka San Jiao) and Ball Bladder. Also note the number of times in the article that the pain is descibed as dull in relation to Deficiency headaches and sharp in relation to headaches caused by Excess.
