Guest guest
http://acupuncture.com/Clinical/Cervical.htm There may be some helpful ideas that can be applied to ankylosing spondylitis in this article. I'm especially interested in the SI3 (Small Intestine 3) point in helping neck and head problems due to Exterior Wind Cold or Wind Heat. Some headaches with Wind Cold or Wind Heat as a factor respond very well to just acupressure used on this point. But one seldom sees this point mentioned in general information on relieving headaches. The Du Mai runs up the spine into the brain. I've also heard of this point being used during an epileptic seizure too. Although it isn't specifically a recessitation point such as kidney 1 or du 26, it does help the seizure patient recover from the seizure more quickly, at least so I'm told. : ) -- Al Stone L.Ac. <AlStone http://www.BeyondWellBeing.com Pain is inevitable, suffering is optional.
