Guest guest
I have been looking for a TCM remedy for this, never had the problem even as an acute variety of it before. One book lists red peony but it seemed ineffectual. Guest guest
Houston, One of the books I have lists Coptis Root (Huang Lian) as an herb to be used externally as an eyewash for conjunctivitis and styes. It may cause some yellowing of the skin around the eyes. It is bitter and cold and taken internally goes to the heart, stomach, liver, and large intestine channels. Clears heat, dries dampness, purges fire, and clears away toxins.
