Guest guest
http://216.92.231.121/Herbology/Pharm.htm This is a very interesting article on the effects of some prescription drugs from a TCM standpoint. This article goes a long way toward offering an explanation as to why prescription drugs often work fine in some individuals in the beginning only to start creating the very side effects that the drug was given for in the first place. Qi, Blood, Yang, and/or Yin are being depleted by the action of the drug. In other people the side effects are immediate. Qi, Blood, Yang, and/or Yin already is depleted in these people, and depleting them more with certain drugs brings immediate symptoms. PWCs (People With CFIDS) tend to be Deficient in one or more areas. A lot of PWCs are extremely sensitive to drugs and prone to side effects from even the drugs with the safest track records.
