Large Intestine 4 is contraindicated in pregnancy because it can bring on

premature labor.

 

However, when a woman is getting ready to deliever, this can be a great

point as it lessens pain while at the same time it can help labor and

delivery.

 

However, there are some times when you may not want to use it during labor

or even delivery. As far as I know LI 4 will do nothing to help correct a

breech position. I could be mistaken about this, but as far as I know this

is one time when you may not want to help delivery along. You may want time

to deal with the breech position.
