Guest guest
Dear Group, I know that both smokeless as well a regular moxa exists. Is there any evidence that one is superior to the other? Guest guest
Moxa again has many qualities and without the smoke I think that you lose some of the intent. To make something smokeless you have to change something in the compound. It is like all of the fat free products that we are encourage to use. But no one stops to think if they take out the fat what has it been replaced with. You have to have something to hold the substance together. Wouldn't it be far better to eat the fat but in moderation? Now there is something to think about. I much prefer the smoking moxa. Breathing of the smoke is also beneficial in moving qi into the lungs and other parts of the body as moxa is absorbed into the skin.
