Guest guest
Inhaling artificial scents is NOT the same as inhaling natural scents. The artifical scents can have properties quite different from natural scents, including triggering nausea, headaches, digestive upset, etc. Inhaling natural scents also could trigger problems if the wrong ones are used. For example, I'd be cautious about using Lignum Aquilariae as an incense with someone with prolapse problems. It may be safe, but I'm not sure because of the property of moving Qi downward. PWCs (People With CFIDS) tend to be overwhelmed by scents (and sounds and any sensory input). For those interested in aromatherapy, we have a professional aromatherapist and herbalist on this list - wiseweeds.
