Guest guest
Just wanted to comment on Reiki and scanning. I teach Reiki and my goal is to combine a Chinese herbal practice with energy based healing such as Reiki, Therapeutic Touch, Cranial Sacral, etc. I will do with my hands what an acupuncturist does with needles. I think TCM diagnosis, herbs, and energy therapy will be a powerful combination. I have picked up lots of information by scanning a client's energy field prior to the Reiki session. A year ago I gave an hour long talk on Reiki at the local health food store. After the talk I offered some quick Reiki sessions to anyone who was interested. They sat in their chairs and I spent about 10 minutes on each person. One of the women I scanned had a definite change in her energy field right around her cheek/jaw. I asked her if she had any problems with sinuses, problem teeth, etc. She said no. She called me a few weeks ago (this is a year later) and wants to study Reiki with me. She remembered my scanning and was amazed when about a month ago she had two severely abcsessed teeth. She went to her dentist for treatment. He told her these teeth have been abscessing for more than a year. That convinced her she wanted to check out Reiki. Using scanning you can find the locations of past surgeries, chronic problems with joints, endometriosis, and just about anything. The disturbance is first in the energy field which is a blue print for the body. Something goes wrong in the energy field, it will eventually manifest in disease/injury in the body. If we can find the disturbance before it manifests, it is much easier to fix. Shane, I think it is wonderful you are using energy and scanning with your acupuncture patients!
