Guest guest
Dried ginger has a very slight aphrodisiac effect. In TCM decreased libido may be due to Kidney Deficiency. The slight aphrodisiac property of dried ginger is part of the reason why some authorities believe that dried ginger (unlike raw ginger) also targets the Kidney meridian. When a TCM healer asks about your sex drive, s/he's not just being nosy. Decreased libido can be one of the symptoms of Kidney Deficiency. Just like problems with the ears and hearing and poor quality hair can be symptoms of Kidney imbalance. Also, some bone problems can indicate imbalances in the Kidneys.
