Guest guest
My daughter, an experience soccer player had been plagued by hamstring problems. When she played in cool weather (even though she did all the proper stretches and warm-ups), she would pull her hamstring muscle. This meant up to six weeks on the sidelines, trips to the sports medicine doctor and/or chiropractor. She was on the Jr. USA World Cup Soccer Team which was invited to play in China. They were experiencing a rare cold spell and inevitably, she pulled a hamstring. She was immediately taken to the Chinese trainers. She could not understand what they said, but she suddenly saw a needle heading in her direction. I was told this was accompanied by a loud yell (she hates needles) but to her surprise, no pain. Within 2 days she was again playing with no sign of her hamstring problem. Acupuncture does work for some sports injuries!!!
