mouth ulcers

Hi Nelly,Years ago when I had chemotherapy, it destroyed the healthy bacteria in my intestines. The docs told me that I'd get mouth ulcers and an itchy butt. I bought loose probiotics to put in my water, more when I felt I needed it. Could your husband's mouth ulcers be from lack of healthful bacteria or candida?

Hi Rhoda,

Never thought of that. Always used to blame the ulcers on the meds husband had been taking for years but now he has been off them for 6 months so can-t blame them any more ...!! Have tried propoli, apple vinegar, bicarbonate mouth wash, but the only thing that seems to give some releif is Listerine.

Must say husband is a bit fussy so if he doesnt like the taste he doesn-t perservere (apple vinegar). He is one of those people who would rather go hungry than eat something he doesn-t like even if he knows its good for him.

Saying that though we both did the Andrea Moritz liver cleanse and I was the one that couldn-t down the last dose of epsom salts. God that was truly disgusting. The grapefruit and olive oil was surprisingly palatable though ...

Anyway, he is already taking some probiotics so we wil try to up the dose to see if that helps with the ulcers (probiotics are nice and tasteless so he takes them no complaints). Thanks for the advice Rhoda..

Hi Nelly,

Why don't you try colloidal silver. It will kill the virus that is

causing the mouth sores. And I know several people it has worked for.

I'm sorry if I'm misunderstanding this, as I'm reading the mails backwards--but if he has mouth ulcers he probably needs some good probiotics. My mom suffered with mouth ulcers for years. Doctor even gave her some vaccine shot because it was believed that it would stop the ulcers. It did not. I had to convince her to try acidopholis. She took it to the doctors to ask him if it was safe to take :-) because she didn't trust anything I said. He told her that yes it was safe but that she was just throwing away her money as it wouldn't work. She said she'd try it because nothing he gave her worked either.

As long as she took the acidopholis the ulcers stayed away. She tried quitting a few times during the first year, but they would come back. Finally after taking it daily for 3 or 4 years they didn't return when she stopped taking it. Every once in a while, when her body was stressed, she would feel one coming on and take a couple of the pills and the sore would stop.

My brother was the same as my mom with the sores in his mouth. He tried the asidopholis and it worked for him, too. then his doctor recommended lysodopholis and friends, a product with more than just the asidopholis in it. that worked even better than the acidopholis alone, and he could stop taking daily doses after only a year.
