pour carefully you won't loose much liquid, and when you strain it the filters won't get as clogged. The first 2 batches I didn't do that and by the time I got to the coffee filter strainers, the top 2 would get clogged with a clearish sludge. This time I didn't get any.samala,Renee

I would discard that soup and start from scratch. Follow the directions

precisely and put the alcohol in immediately.
