Guest guest
I went out to check on the oleander seeds and I don't think they are ready yet. The pods are turning dark red, but when I cut one open the fluff inside was not loose. I THINK the seed pods have to dry more, then they split open and the fluff goes out, kind of like dandelion. So--my question--has anyone else collected seeds? Should I wait and let them dry on the bush more and take the chance of them splitting open and the seeds blowing away before I get there, or is it ok to cut them off and let them dry in a paper bag at home?
