From what I've read the high-risk fish are those that consume a lot of smaller fish and therefore tend to accumulate certain heavy metals. You can do some research on this to satisfy yourself but many fish are quite safe to eat. It's funny how your taste buds and sense of smell change with diet improvement. Now fish really stinks awful to me. Other reasons for going vegan is lowering my carbon footprint, compassion for all the living and concern on the terrible impact fishing has on our oceans.
