Where do you live? I live in Michigan and have found a dairy farm that sells shares in their cows, so I get raw milk which is wonderful! I also have kefir grains to make my own cultures. I found a CSA for fresh organic vegetables. The brix isn't very high, but at least I know they are not bathed in pesticides. I have to drive a bit of a distance to purchase these treasures, but money well spent for better health.

How do you take the milk thistle? I have a milk thistle tincture but haven't used it yet.

Hi Bonnie F,I'm not fighting cancer but we lead a very healthy lifestyle. We arevery fortunate indeed to have an organic farmer couple who live just acouple of miles out of town. We've been customers of theirs for aboutten years, so my kids have eaten organic virtually from birth. Inaddition, I run an organic co-op that provides us and about 20 otherfamilies with organic everything else - nuts, granola, oil, lentils, shampoo, soap, etc. We order once a month and get a truck loadshipped up. Mostly local suppliers, though not all.Supplements vary depending on the situation. We also have one of thehighest quality organic herbal tinctures (probably in the world, ifnot Canada) that are produced about 2 hours from here so from them Itake milk thistle but other things as I need them. From the US Istruggle to buy colloidal silver and gold from Utopia. As I learn about all of this I know there are modifications to be madeto my diet, but I also know I'm not very far off the mark. I can'timagine having to make the change from a mainstream dietI have only one complaint and maybe you'll all laugh at me. My girlshave been raised this way and so have been to McDonald's maybe twice(hated it) and my youngest refuses to eat anything prepared.ANYTHING! She gets repulsed. Every meal we eat has to be lovinglyprepared from our own gourmet kitchen. No break from cooking for mom!Luckily, we all prepare our meals together so I get help.Kind regards, interested in hearing how other people live

I live in Ontario, about 90 minutes north of Toronto. As I stated,

our organic produce is delivered to our Farmer's Market from our

farmer couple, who live down the highway. Our organic dairy comes

from Quebec, a lot further away. Cheese from them is raw but I think

raw dairy (milk) is illegal here still. Loads of organic CSA in

Quebec, where we spend the summers. We literally plan our weekend

camping trips based on the campsite proximity to a CSA farm (we buy

the boxes leftover from the no-shows).

The organic co-operative gets products that are unbelievably cheap.

In Quebec I'm forced to buy retail and holy hannah is it expensive!

anyone interested in oustanding organic and wild-crafted herbal tincures:

They are Canadian but you can order them from

http://www.nationalnutrition.ca/

The above is a very reliable online seller who ships very quickly -

they ship to the US. At this moment your dollar is slightly higher

than ours so the pricing might be in your favour, then again, I'm not

sure what the shipping is to the US.

Kind regards.
