Guest guest
This is the second or third time I've asked. Is there any way to do a liver cleanse without epsom salts? I tried again, and have a truly violent and immediate projectile vomit reaction to epsom salts. L'Chaim, Rhoda
Guest guest
I have seen some people use Oxy Powder or Magnesium Citrate instead of Epsom Salts. The purpose of the Epsom Salts is to dilate the bile ducts so that any " stones " are passed safely and to avoid possible gall bladder complications. I have seen it reported on CureZone that some people who did a liver cleanse without Epsom Salts ended up having gall bladder surgery. Yikes! Although not considered as effective as the regular fast cleanse, you might also wish to consider a milder and slower acting liver cleanse product, such as the Liver Cleanse sold by our friends at Utopia Silver (and use the group discount code of LR001 to get the usual 15% discount on their products). oleander soup , " Rhoda Mead " <hummingbird541 wrote: > > *This is the second or third time I've asked. Guest guest
Rhoda, Try Milk thistle seed ... not sure how much because I've never used it other than in a tea on occasion. Fresh lemon water will feed the liver... but it has to be fresh lemons not concentrated and it only stays anionic for about 8 to 10 hours... use it in 1:9 ratio... 1 being the lemon and 9 steam distilled water, only drink about 4 oz at a time. It is very good for the liver, feeds it without much work. If you are a diabetic keep track of your blood sugar level though because using the lemon water feeds the liver which then can make the enzymes that pancreas needs, which could cause an insulin spike and if you are a diabetic taking insulin it would need to be adjusted accordingly. Also, if you tend to have low blood sugar a natural sweetner can be added to it. Bonnie F. This is the second or third time I've asked. Is there any way to do a liver cleanse without epsom salts? Guest guest
"Ask Doc Sutter" on curezone has a liver flush that uses 'ultra phos' drops in apple cider, which dilates the bile ducts and a liverflush that does not use epsom salts. I am using it and having wonderful results - gotten out drug debris and working on getting stones out of my liver. I have had a little nausea but no projectile vomiting - I couldn't stand that either;-) email me if you wish and we can discuss this further. Guest guest
Hi Rhoda I used to do the cleanse without epsom salts and it worked just fine. HOWEVER, epsom salts will help to make sure that stones do not get stuck and goes a long way in giving more assurance that a stone will not get stuck. In my experience with cleansing, both personally and with clients, (since 2001) I have have not seen or heard of anyone ending up in the emergency room with a stone that was stuck. I’m not saying that it doesn’t happen (obviously it does) but I am saying that it is not the norm. Try using a bit less of the epsom salts and mix them in organic orange juice or better yet, organic grapefruit juice. Many say that mixing it in this manner helps tremendously. I would also suggest using Mag O7 for an oxygen-based cleanser. Unlike most other cleansing products or protocols (like enemas), it cleans from the small intestine down. This is important because your food is digested in the small intestine. The people who make Mag O7 are experts and where Homozon is the grandfather of oxygen-based cleansers, Mag O7 is next. It is pure and costs less they most others. And, it has been tested to release oxygen up to 16 hours. I actually got to witness this in the lab and it is incredible. Oxygen cleansing is not fake-science. It works and it helps to heal the digestive tract. Also, the less ingredients means the more Mag O7 in the product. Some are included Vitamin C which is an anti-oxidant and cancels out the effect of the oxygen making the product not work as effectively as it could. I would also highly suggest including something in the apple juice to help break-up stones. The apple juice alone is not always effective in this area. I would recommend either Super-Phos 30 (use 1-ounce per GALLON of apple juice. Must brush teeth after every glass.) or LivaPure (put whole bottle in one gallon of apple juice) which includes Wildcrafted Chanca Piedra, a great herb for breaking up stones. LivaPure also contains other organic/wild-crafted herbs that help to cleanse and support the liver. A long time ago we used to suggest a can of COKE to help break up stones but, of course, this does not promote health at all. Also, cancer patients, especially, should do at least 3-5 back-to-back liver/gallbladder/digestive tract cleanses (2 weeks to 1 month in between each cleansing depending upon how strong the patient is) and then one every 3 months. If one feels that they are releasing a lot of toxins then liver/gallbladder cleansing would be recommended every month. Cleansing, in my opinion, is the most important part of any cancer protocol, yet so many protocols don’t even suggest it. I think it is one reason why many people do not get good results from natural protocols, especially those who have gone through rounds and rounds of chemotherapy and radiation. If the liver is not functioning well then it can and will make a huge difference in how well the body does or doesn’t heal. My up-dated digestive tract and liver/gallbladder cleansing strategies (along with cleanses for the mouth/gums, parasites, heavy metals, sinus, emotional and environmental) will be up on the OAW site soon. The body is so bombarded with toxins that cleansing should always be a part of one’s health program. People feel better, look better, have more energy and are doing their body a huge favor when they keep the body cleansed. Our grandparents and generations before them understood the importance of cleansing and then modern medicine decided it had no place --- possibly one of many reasons that we now see so many healthy concerns.
