Hello,I'm new to the club. I have been taking chlorella about 1 month. I was taking about 8 to 9 grams a day. Chlorella is high in vitamin A. and we have begun to notice my palms of the hands have a orangish hue now to them. I was freaking out , but not sure if it is just a high carotene intake?? Has anyone else had this happen. How do I know it is not liver related? Thanks so much

a is a fat soluble vitamin and you can build up toxic levels of all fat soluble vitamins if your intake of them is too high and then you can exhibit symptoms of vitamin toxicity

Hi friends, I'm temporarily back online, and as usual, fulla questions. I was reading about chlorella, and how it pulls heavy metals out of the bloodstream. Isn't the problem more of heavy metals within cells than the bloodstream? I'm an ignoramus in a lotta ways, so if my question is silly, just tell me quietly, don't shout. The religious response was quite clear. L'Chaim, Rhoda

Rhoda,

Good morning, if Chlorella cleans the blood, then could it be possible that as the blood is cleaned then more heavy metals could be drawn from the cells to the blood, which is then removed again by the chlorella?

..and L'Chaim to you too,

Bonnie F.
