Guest guest
Bonnie, I am in excrutiating pain right now and will possibly have to go to the hospital. Its on my lower left side. I have a call into the dr's. waiting to hear back. Am trying everything to stop this pain but it's constant. I think the chlorella might have opened up a can of worms possibly. Any idea what it might be? I am doing a search right now. Hugs and thanks B & ACLooking for simple solutions to your real-life financial challenges? Guest guest
Bonnie, Dr. just called and she feels that I might be passing a kidney stone, would explain the off and on pain and sometimes excrutiating. She wants me to go to the hospital but I just don't want to!! I saw that chlorella has a high uric acid in it which would explain the stone causing problems. But my acid reflux starting up again too seems strange. I am wondering if this chlorella I took caused toxins to come out where they might have been hiding. I am miserable today big time! Guest guest
Bonnie,Sorry if I sound adamant. But yes he can go back. You are worth it and I am sure he won't mind getting something that will help you.Tell him I insisted. It will just take a second to pick up a watermelon and then he can go to the pool closing party. We women are the "nurturers" and we tend to think of others first and put ourselves last. But when it comes to our health and pain, that should be a different story. And besides, you can take better care of him when you are feeling well. Guest guest
Chlorella helps with heavy metal detoxification and cleansing of organs. Any time one is using a supplement that has a great detoxing ability, they should be drinking at least ½ of the body weight in ounces of purified water every day. It usually takes several days to a couple of weeks of higher dosages of chlorella before detoxification symptoms are seen. When taking chlorella it is always best to gradually build up the dosage. Are there any other ingredients in the Chlorella? How many mg in each capsule? According to Dr. Mercola about 30% of people can't tolerate chlorella. This may be due to optimized function of the enzyme cellulase. If you are unable to tolerate this it would be wise to consider adding an enzyme with cellulase in it to help digest the chlorella. If you do not have a sufficient amount of hydrochloric acid secreted by your stomach (acid reflux) then supplements with mineral content may be difficult to ionize. Chlorella is high in minerals. There is a hydrochloric acid reflex present on the lowest rib approximately one inch lateral to the midline. If this area on the rib is tender to palpation there is a strong likelihood one is deficient in hydrochloric acid and would benefit from supplementation with Betaine HCL. This is especially common in individuals over 50 years old, and also in individuals with food allergies. One to six capsules or more of Betaine hydrochloride is generally taken with the first bite of every meal for proper digestive support. The Betaine can be discontinued once the reflex point in non-tender to deep palpation. Start with one capsule at each meal and then build up adding a capsule after every 2nd meal. As long as there is no experience of stomach burning you can continue to add one capsule until the maximum of six is reached. If you experience stomach burning then back down to the previous amount. This is especially common in individuals over 50 years old, and also in individuals with food allergies. The Betaine can be discontinued once the reflex point in non-tender to deep palpation. Pain caused by kidney disorders usually is felt in the side (flank) or small of the back and many times fever is present when trying to pass a kidney stone. Is there a possibility of constipation or of gas build-up? Chlorella also helps with bowel cleansing and sometimes when the bowel begins to cleanse one will experience excess gas and bloating that can cause discomfort. The fact that you mention acid reflux would cause me to think that the pain might possibly be something to do with the digestive tract. Thought I would offer some things to think about. If it gets worse or you experience fever, it would be best to call your healthcare professional or go to the emergency room. Guest guest
According to Dr. Reams a preventive measure against getting stones would be to take 2 tbsp of olive oil daily, which could be on a salad or not.
