Guest guest
I have a friend who is in stage 4 cancer (kidney and lung) and is on a variety of different protocols. He recently received his order for Oleander Pills and tried one pill for 2 days. He had a very bad emotional and mental reaction. He said it took him to a very dark and emotional scary place, kind of like having a very bad drug trip. Has anyone ever experienced this before or even know what this might be? I would also like to know what the stages of cancer might be (symptoms, reactions etc.) for those treating cancer naturally. I do not know the forms of detox for cancer, if they are any different than that of any other disease one treats alternatively. Thanks Seth
Guest guest
YIKES what an awful thing to happen to your friend, so sorry! Is he sure it was the oleander though? Guest guest
How interesting. This very much surprises me because oleander is actually supposed to relieve anxiety. I don't know if this could be some type of allergic reaction. As for detox, Tony posted the following in a prior message. - Repeated liver cleanses until there are no stones, and periodic cleanses after that - Coffee enemas to open the bile duct - Milk Thistle, Alpha-lipoic acid, selenium and turmeric all help either protect and/or regenerate the liver and turmeric helps regulate the bile AND helps increase CD4 counts - Coconut oil is healthful in many ways and helps keep bile flowing - Beetroot juice is also very healthful, especially for the liverI am also going to give you the link for Tony's anti cancer protocol. Until you hear from Mark and/or Tony about why he had such a severe reaction, tell him to stop taking the oleander, but he can implement the rest of his protocol. A Natural Anti-Cancer ProtocolWhat other protocols is he implementing? In the meantime, I will see if I can find out a reason why he had this type of reaction. I have not heard of this before.Hugs, oleander soup , seth sato <sethsato wrote:>> > > > > I have a friend who is in stage 4 cancer (kidney and lung)> and is on a variety of different protocols. Guest guest
Hi : Thanks for the info. He has only taken 2 pills of oleander and stopped after he had the bad reaction. He is on the Budwig/Select protocol, various herbs, baking soda/maple syrup, Rife ultrasound, zapper and is starting ellagic acid. I was curious what are the physical symptoms of one going through 4th stage cancer and what are the typical symptoms of using alternative methods to heal cancer. I am looking for markers or signs of either decline or improvement so I know what direction to take. I realize blood analysis and or x-rays, cat scan etc.. are the best way to judge the progress but I am looking for signals that perhaps can give me an idea where I stand with these treatments. Thanks Seth May <luellamay129oleander soup Sent: Saturday, September 20, 2008 7:31:32 AM Re: [oleander soup symptoms cancer How interesting. Guest guest
Hi Seth, I am doing some research to see if I can come up with any answers as to why your friend had such a reaction. I am stymied, as I have never heard of such a reaction. I will be back to post my findings. As to what the symptoms of the last stages of cancer are, I believe everybody is different. I was talking with a friend of mine the beginning of the week about my mother and how I suspected that besides the fibroid tumors in her lungs that she had developed Leukemia, as her bone marrow wasn't making the blood correctly and she was on weekly procrit shots. Yet, when I asked the doctor he said no, although she was really never tested, I don't think. He said it was malaise? Anyway, even towards the end, when that no longer worked, and actually, they never did. Maybe a teensy bit of added energy for a day, and was on hospice, she could still walk and get around, she no longer needed a wheelchair actually, and there was actual improvement. Well, she also had congestive heart failure and a heart attack suddenly took her. Well, by everything I described, my friend agreed with me that she probably did have Leukemia but was not strong enough for any " treatments. " And to this I say thank God because her quality of life was really not bad at all. I would say to look for signs of weakness, tiredness, pneumonia, heart failure, retention of liquids, bloating, different things that come up. However, in treating someone alternatively, I would never focus on these things. I would focus on the optimism of healing no matter what. And............ One devastating piece of information that I came across in my research, and actually, it wasn't even the topic, it just came up in google and I veered my research a bit..... fibroid tumors in the lungs are a direct result of asthma inhalers. And that makes sense. My mother was on all different types of asthma inhalers and steroids since she was in her 50's. I know I've rambled on a bit, but I do hope I have answered your questions and maybe someone with more " hands on " experience can add more information. Guest guest
Hi Seth, So sorry to hear about your friends reaction. I have been taking the S/OPC (Sutherlandia/Oleander) for quite a few months now and experienced after a few weeks into it a bout of diarhea but that was the only negative thing. Everything else has been good, I have definately had a boost in stamina (energy) I was energetic already and still noticed a difference and clearer thinking. It felt like a overall tonic really. My bloodwork and my dogs(he is on it too) improved as well. I made many changes in diet, lifestyle, much detoxing, liver cleanses etc. I'm treating myself naturally for a cancer diagnosis a little ovwer two years ago. Guest guest
Seth, There are many alternative/complementary cancer therapies that might help your friend if he can't tolerate Oleander for whatever reason. You might check out www.cancertutor.com for ideas. What other therapies has he tried? Guest guest
Seth, Many diseases have an emotional component. Oncologist Bernie Siegle wrote a book titled Love, Medicine, and Miracles which chronicles his discoveries about the emotional components of cancer. I don't know if this is related to your friend's reaction but it is worth exploring. I learned many years ago that diseases can often be seen to be the creations of individuals in response to stresses in life. Just as some people may use drugs or alcohol to help them cope with stress, some people get a disease. I have heard of rather violent reactions some have had to having their disease threatened. I have also seen people in recovery from a disease stop everything that is facilitating the recovery and return to the disease state as it has become part of their identity. This may all be subconscious, but the subconscious is a dumb beast that will act as if it has been attacked if it has created a disease in what it perceives to be a protective measure. I recommend exploring Holodynamics www.holodynamics.com and the Emotional Freedom Technique www.emofree.com/ Ruth Posted by: " seth sato " sethsato sethsato Sat Sep 20, 2008 6:56 am (PDT) I have a friend who is in stage 4 cancer (kidney and lung) and is on a variety of different protocols. Guest guest
Very true Ruth... excellent post....that is why a complete lifestyle change (physical, mental and emotional) is necessary for someone with cancer! Guest guest
Hi Seth, Well, I can find nothing to substantiate the reaction your friend had with the oleander capsules. The side effects I find are diarrhea and rapid heartbeat. As for an allergic reaction, I found itching and irritation. So, I am at a loss. Actually, oleander relieves anxiety, it doesn't promote it. By chance, did he take a brand new medication when he was starting the oleander supplement? Is he on antibiotics? Sometimes this will have the same reaction that your friend had. Levoquin definitely comes to mind. Do you know specifically what medications he is taking, if any? And this started immediately upon taking the OPC capsules? The only suggestion I have is maybe making the oleander soup itself, starting with the smallest dosage and see how he fares. And if you do this, please let me know. Here is the link to the soup recipe should you choose to take this route. Please keep in mind that the directions must be followed explicitly and you must be absolutely positive that the plant has not been sprayed with commercial pesticides. If you go to a nursery, make sure it is organic. Hugs, I just don't know. oleander soup , seth sato <sethsato wrote: > > Hi : > > Thanks for the info. Guest guest
Seth - The reaction your friend had is truly bizarre - I have never heard any such thing before. Perhaps it was just fear about taking oleander in the first place? If he does not take oleander, then he might still have good success if he follows all or most of the other elements in my suggested protocol. The baking soda/maple syrup you mention is an urban legend type myth. There may be benefit from the baking soda, but the idea that maple syrup will somehow get the baking soda past the digestive system and to the cancer is ridiculous - and it needless adds a form of sugar to the diet, and cancer loves sugar. oleander soup , seth sato <sethsato wrote: > > Hi : > > Thanks for the info.
