Dearest Bonnie,

Woulda, shoulda, coulda are words that just add to our hurt. The fact

is that you did not know. Don't look back, look forward. You did the

best that you could with the information you had. And you were (and

will be again) the best furkid mom ever.

Lots of love and hugs,

Bonnie, thank you, I will get some for Jazzie.

Expense? I am spending about $800 a month now for Jazzie's

supplements and I thank God every day that I am working and can do it.

There is nothing else that my husband and I want more than Jazzie!

(And Abigail, our other young Leo!)

I was on the blacksalve list which saved Jazzie's life because I had

learned there that neoplasene can have side effects though Dr. Fox and

I had a hot discussion on it. She stopped eating, developed bloody

diarrhea and began to lose weight. DOgs are smart--if you pay

attention to their behavior you can learn from them. Jazzie developed

such a strong aversion to anything with even a speck of neoplasene in

it--she would not even eat from her old food bowl! We had to buy new

food bowls! It took two weeks for her to recover from the damage

inflicted by neoplasene which I believe destroys all of the important

gut bacteria opening the mucous membranes up to infections. Two other

dog owners have emailed me with the same problem--one of them lost her

Golden to neoplasene. The necropsy showed severe liver damage and

necrosis of the intestines but no sign of cancer. Still, neoplasene

is a miracle for a great many dogs and I encourage people to consider

it but in very small amounts to determine the dogs tolerance.

Ok, I know this is going to sound weird, but it may be worth a try, your statement about "if you pay attention to their behavior you can learn from them" jogged my memory.

I don't know if you've heard of it before, but there's a millennium old method called Urine Therapy. It's where you cure any illness by drinking your own urine--or in an emergency, that of another person. Sounds strange, but it has cured many people of every type of illness you can imagine.

Anyway, I had read a post from a man who was talking about his wolf's cancer. He said that he was astounded to see his wolf pee into his food dish, on top of his food, and then eat all the food. He did this twice, so the man started collecting the wolf's pee and pouring it over the dog's food, and the dog got well.

There is a on UT, and several good books, but the basics is that you start out by drinking your first urine in the morning. This cures most anything, but for really serious cases a person drinks all their urine output for the day.

I personally have not gotten up the courage to try this. I keep thinking about it, but chickening out. :-) I already know that urine is sterile--it's just the idea. They say it makes antibodies to whatever is wrong with you.

Some people start out with just a few drops and work their way up, and even a few people start with a homeopathic dilution of their urine. It's totally safe--just, um--well, I don't want to go there. But I guess if I had something I was dying from, I'd try anything, including this. It certainly has a long enough track record, and a pretty impressive health file.

Renee,

I've read about urine therapy. Even bought a couple of books on the

subject. Then it just slipped my mind (happens a lot....lol) and I

forgot all about it.

However, it's a very credible possibility. Lots of history behind it.

Maybe I'll work up the courage to try it.

Your Own Perfect Medicine by Martha M Christy - best book I ever read on the subject. It worked too - all I needed to get better, was the threat of that book sitting on my shelf! LOL

I loaned it to someone & have never seen it since so I hope they survived!

Hey Phil. I guess some people can just plunge into it and drink that first mouthful, no problem. But some people build up slowly. They say on the to just take a few drops--catch the urine in a paper cup, take a few drops out with a dropper, and try that. Once you get over the "idea" of drinking urine, it's not even suppose to taste bad.
