Politics are not healthy for mind, body or soul

Yes, I have to agree. Anything that regards the health of mind, body

and soul is welcome (though the primary subject is oleander).

Politics are not healthy for any of those.

 

Our country was founded to be a constitutional republic where all men

were created equal and bestowed with God given unalienable rights.

The individual was sovereign, local and state government next and a

weak federal government was supposed to insure relations and commerce

between the states and insure the protection of our lives and

property. Period.

 

We now have a top heavy authoritarian plutocracy which serves the

interests of the elite and corporations with agencies and color of law

courts. It is a democracy in name only. Politics, especially on the

national level, are merely the charade that is used to blind the

people to the reality of the erosion of their liberties and the middle

class. It is no more real than the " just ask your doctor " commercials

and the industry funded studies that tell us that vaccines, radiation,

chemo and other drugs are safe and effective while nature is

ineffective and dangerous.

 

THAT is not politics, that is reality.

 

Which brings me to another reason not to have political posts - it

tends to result in me getting on MY soapbox! LOL
