Guest guest
Dear MDS, I am a true beginner at MMS, but I think the protocol says that oleander will interfere with MMS, not the reverse.. I thought Webster wrote that taking antioxidants at the same time as the OCC will prevent the OCC from working. Please check it out and let me know if I'm inaccurate. Guest guest
I haven't seen any where that Oleander is a strong Antioxidant. But if that worries you, just stop Oleander 3 days before you start OCC and you should be fine. oleander soup , " Rhoda Mead " <hummingbird541 wrote: > > Dear MDS, I am a true beginner at MMS, but I think the protocol says that > oleander will interfere with MMS, not the reverse.. Guest guest
I do not, in any way, mean to sound harsh, with the following statement, but I must say that nobody should ever stop taking oleander for whatever reason. As far as I know, this is the strongest cancer fighter of them all. Again, as far as I know oleander does not interfere with MMS. However, if there is any question as to whether oleander interferes with MMS or anything else, I would definitely choose oleander and foresake the other supplement in question. Whatever you do, even if you choose to take chemo, NEVER STOP TAKING OLEANDER. Hugs, oleander soup , " mds9513 " <mds9513 wrote: > > I haven't seen any where that Oleander is a strong Antioxidant. Guest guest
Hi Rhoda. Oleander is an anti-oxidant and MMS is an oxidant. They should not be taken together. The anti-oxidants will interfere with the oxidant. Also, MMS is thought to take C out of the body, so after the OCC is done I'd start immediately taking C with the oleander. Guest guest
Actually, Jim Humble, the founder of the MMS Protocol, does not advise against taking anti-oxidants while on the MMS protocol but rather advises taking antioxidants at least three hours APART from the protocol. Increased cellular oxygen can be an important tool in fighting cancer and other diseases (that is why I recommend the product OxyGen as part of the protocol); however, I feel that no one should ever stop taking plentiful anti-oxidants because of the damages that can be caused by oxidative stress and all the free radicals that would be left unchecked. Quite simply, anti-oxidants themselves are extremely important tools for fighting disease and maintaining good health. We continue to have quite a bit of discussion here on this oleander soup forum about MMS, and I continue to allow it because I know that there is no magic bullet that works for everyone against every cancer, so there is always a chance that MMS might work where oleander and the rest of my suggested protocol does not. However, it has been my experience that oleander has worked more often when MMS has failed than vice versa. As Marc has noted from his vast experience, when one is taking oleander the first thing that normally happens is that the rate of growth is slowed, then next it is stabilized and finally the cancer tumor shrinks away and is absorbed by the body (or in some instances reduces to a smaller benign mass). Sometimes this progression occurs very quickly. Other times it takes longer. In one instance I know of, it took an entire year for a breast cancer tumor to be expelled and eliminated. oleander soup , " Gaiacita " <gaiacita wrote: > > Hi Rhoda. > > Oleander is an anti-oxidant and MMS is an oxidant. Guest guest
I hope this helps regarding the antioxidant activity of oleandar. The following information is from the Dr. Duke's Phytochemical and Ethnobotanical Databases. Oleandar only has 11 identified antioxidants and only one of any significant amount: Ursolic-Acid: at 43,000 ppm. (http://sun.ars-grin.gov:8080/npgspub/xsql/duke/plantdisp.xsql?taxon=659) Ursolic-Acid is also an anticancer and oleandar has one of the highest concentrarions of this chemical of any plant. In contrast the following food items have the following antioxidant concentrations: English walnut:2,720,600 ppm total [4 chemical(s)] Pomegranate: 1,620,000 ppm total [4 chemical(s)] Coffee Bean: 1,071,362 ppm total [23 chemical(s)] Tea Leaf: 1,063,978 ppm total [39 chemical(s)] Cucumber: 1,009,400 ppm total [1 chemical(s)] Onion: 843,280 ppm total [34 chemical(s)] It would seem that the antioxidant activity of oleandar, at leasst in terms of quantity of antioxidants, is low. It would be my guess that oleandarsoup would not interfere with the OCC treatment. - Steve ________________________________ oleander soup oleander soup On Behalf Of Tuesday, September 02, 2008 9:53 AM oleander soup Re: MMS and oleander Actually, Jim Humble, the founder of the MMS Protocol, does not advise against taking anti-oxidants while on the MMS protocol but rather advises taking antioxidants at least three hours APART from the protocol.
